The Wonders of Jaipur - Amer Fort, Lake Palace and City Palace and Museum

Another spectacular day for the team.  Following a brief stop at the Hawa Mahal, we began our day with a 25 minute elephant ride to the top of Amer Fort followed by a tour of this magnificent palace.  Set at the top of a hill surrounded by a pink brick fortified wall which could be seen in the horizon of the surrounding hillsides.  Panoramic views of the surrounding city and countryside combined with a  beautiful clear blue sky and warm temperatures made for a great start to our day. Second on our agenda was a fleeting visit to the Lake Palace to capture a photo of this beautiful building situated in the middle of the lake.  Our final stop was a visit to the Jaipuir City Palace and museum where the team admired the fine traditional Indian jewellery, weaponry and clothes.  The fine architecture and beautiful statues left the team amazed.
