Chambal River Boat Trip

Our first experience in Kota was aboard a small speedboat cruising up the Chambal River in the blistering heat of 35 degrees Celsius.  This river is part of the Darrah National Park with lush vegetation and craggy cliffs on either side.  We spotted a variety of wildlife including monkeys, birds of prey and many crocodiles.  It goes without saying that we were particularly cautious about putting our hands in the water!
