The team arrived in Mehsana at approximately 1:30pm and received a warm welcome from members of the Rotary Club of Mehsana. After greeting our hosts, we visited a dairy factory and tried many different flavoured milk drinks (including saffron and rose). Milk manufactured here contains 6% fat as opposed to a mere 2% fat in the UK.
Our day ended with a lovely evening at the Rotary Club of Mehsana where the team delivered a slightly different presentation. We started by showcasing the District 1290 DVD followed by our individual personal and vocational presentations and ending with a slideshow of our best experiences in India thus far. Following our presentations was a selection of beautiful dances and Hindi songs and the evening ended with a delicious dinner on the rooftop. |
