The team were privileged to be given a tour of the Rotary Club of Abu Road Global Hospital Blood Bank. This blood bank facility was financed by the Rotary Matching Grant scheme and has saved thousands of lives. Following our tour of the hospital, the team met with Dr. Satish Gupta, a cardiology consultant who gave an informative speech on the benefits of homeopathy and natural stress management techniques for the prevention of heart failure.
Homeopathy and Natural Medicines vs. Tablets
During the numerous discussions with our various hosts here in India, many of the people we have spoken to favour homeopathy and naturally occurring medicines over the taking of prescribed manufactured tablets. To this end, many people take a very spiritual approach to life and are guided by their religion. Two examples of a difference between our two cultures. |
