The team held their 4th GSE meeting on Saturday 10th September in Truro whilst watching the local city carnival. Truro City Carnival is a wonderful local festival where local people light up the streets in many different costumes and outfits to celebrate the lively and vibrant culture of the area.
Following the carnival the team met with Shilpa (a friend of the team) for dinner at a local Indian restaurant where we had our first Hindi lesson and first experience of eating dinner with our hands – a truly fun and enjoyable Indian experience.
Amongst the parade was a show of beautiful traditional English classic cars, one of which is pictured below.
