Our day began with a guided visit to Chittorgath Fort; the largest fort in India spanning an area of 691.9 acres and standing over a hill 180m high. We climbed eight storeys through a maze of small narrow tunnelled stairs to the top of Victory Tower and admired the amazing view of Chittorgath. Following our climb, we visited the walled lake where Queen Padmini bathed and our last stop was at the magnificent rose gardens. Following our visit to the Fort we enjoyed lunch with members of the Rotary Club of Chittorgath at the Hotel Meera.
