The teams are back for the second evening of wedding celebrations. This event was an all encompassing sensory overload of music, lights, beautiful clothes and a huge array of delicious food. The evening started with the men being fitted with turbans and the groom and his entourage led the precession of some 3000 attendees to the beautifully decorated hotel grounds where his wife was waiting for his arrival. The precession took over an hour, stopping regularly for dancing, traditional Indian orchestral music. One of the busiest intersections in Jaipur together with two full carriageways came to a total standstill during this spectacular performance. Male guests were welcome with garlands and female guests were welcomed with jewellery gifts. The pictures below only begin to show some of the wonderful sites that the teams participated in this evening.
