The team enjoyed a lovely evening at the Rotary Club of Jaipur South with their hosts, District Governor Ratnesh Kashyap and President Archana Surana. The club President gave an interesting and insightful talk on the club’s progress and achievements throughout the year and it was amazing to see such a successful and proactive group of young members who were part of the club's Interact and Rotaract section. The District Governor followed with a lovely speech on the benefits of the Group Study Exchange program and praised the long lasting friendships that have been created through Rotary. Our team from D1290 then delivered our presentation to the club about our families, vocations and interests, which was well received by attendee Rotarians. Finally, an exchange of banners and gifts took place before eating some delicious Indian cuisine with great company.
Tomorrow, we begin the next chapter of our journey in India and move on to Ajmer. We will sorely miss Jaipur and the Rotarian families to which we have all grown very attached to. We have made many life long lasting friends here in Jaipur who have taken such wonderful care of us since our arrival on the 19th January.

You'll be back in Jaipur again - and not just on your GSE. The place will call you across the world and you'll go back to see your friends. I know, I've made it three times.
