Time to Reflect

Back on the road with 100km remaining, (and driving with the traffic flow instead of against it!), staring out into the distance and eagerly awaiting our arrival in Agra, gives one a chance to reflect over our time here in India; to think about some of the astonishing people we have met, what lies ahead in the coming weeks and most importantly, to think about how fortuitous we are for the opportunities we have had.
The team has settled in well here and formed a strong, supportive bond, both with each other and the people we have met.  Enthused and at times humbled by our experiences, this road trip has provided the opportunity to stop, think, listen and count our blessings.  The importance of taking a little time out to dig deeper, think about our own feelings, actions, decisions and future direction cannot be overstated.  Discussions between us reveal that each of us live very busy lives, perhaps trying to accomplish too much in a short space of time and neglecting ourselves the chance to reflect and evaluate.  As the writing of this somewhat philosophical post comes to a close, we are some 50km from Agra and everyone is awake, excited and wired for sound!
